INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Cars were blowing up at Eagle Creek Park Friday, but it was all to teach college students.

The car explosions were part of IUPUI's fifth annual Post-Blast Class at the IMPD firing range at Eagle Creek Park.

The 31 students take two days to learn about the U.S. Bomb Squad.

After the explosions the students and the SPEA's Criminal Justice program must determine what caused and started each blast.

The Department of Public Safety, Indianapolis Fire Department and ATF assisted.
