INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A jackknifed semi had several lanes of Interstate 65 blocked for 2 hours early Friday morning.

Indiana State Police say a semi was southbound on I-65 near the 104 mile marker (near Edgewood Avenue) around 1:25 a.m. when the semi struck a passenger car also southbound.

Investigators say the car went off the road and the semi carrying a load of auto parts jackknifed.

The driver of the semi as well as the driver of the car and a passenger were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The interstate re-opened around 3:20 a.m.
