JCC hosts special events for Earth Day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Sunday marks the 42nd annual Earth day, a day meant to raise awareness about environmental issues.
The JCC held an inaugural Earth Day Celebration where the public could plant trees, start a garden from scratch, and build their own mini greenhouse.
The event was held at the Arthur M. Glick JCC in Indianapolis.
The free event was hoped to inspire people to protect and improve the environment because according to a recent Harris Poll, fewer people now say they're concerned about the future of the planet.
