Jill Scott to headline Indiana Black Expo concert

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Jill Scott will be the headlining act for Saturday festivities surrounding Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration, organizers announced on Wednesday.
Scott, a Grammy-award winning artist, will perform on July 20 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Hip-hop group Whodini will also perform.
In 2000, Scott was nominated for a Grammy, and she won her first Grammy in 2005. She has also acted in an HBO series and a Tyler Perry film.
Tickets start at $30 and go on sale March 11th at through Ticketmaster, Bankers Life Fieldhouse and Indiana Black Expo, 3145 N. Meridian St.
