INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A court ruling Friday involving embattled Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officer David Bisard could impact a 2008 murder case.
24-Hour News 8 has learned that Marion County Judge Mark Stoner will issue a ruling at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Criminal Court 6 on a defense motion regarding Officer Bisard.
Attorney Monica Foster represents Ronald Davis, a suspect in the Hovey Street Murders where two women and two infants were slain in their home in January 2008.
Bisard was the first officer to respond to the scene that night. Foster filed a motion requesting information about Bisard and how his role might impact the investigation.
24-Hour News 8 has also learned that the family of one of the victims in that murder has been called to meet with the prosecutor at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
