Jury: Man murdered area musician

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A jury on Wednesday found a man guilty of killing an area musician.

The jury convicted Allen Parker of murder in the death of John Butsch in April 2011 at Woodruff Place.

Prosecutors say Butsch evicted Parker about a year before the murder.

After his arrest, Parker spoke to 24-Hour News 8 from jail and said while he didn’t kill Butsch, “it had to happen.”
