INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A delegation of Kenyan airport officials is visiting Indianapolis International Airport next week.
Indianapolis is one of only three U.S. airports the delegation is visiting during a reverse trade mission May 8-9.
The Kenyan delegation will tour the facilities and the airport’s solar farm, which starts operations this year. Indianapolis International Airport had one of the first new terminals designed and opened after 9/11. Its also the nation’s only LEED certified terminal.
The reverse trade mission will give the Kenyan delegates a chance to observe best practices in the U.S. that could improve their own projects.
