INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Vote early and you might avoid crowds on Election Day.

About 953 people voted the weekend leading up to Tuesday’s primary.

But Marion County Clerk Beth White fears voters will go to the wrong polling location on Tuesday. This, after a redrawing of the county's precinct lines.

“We have estimated that one in three are voting in a new precinct,” White said.

To help avoid confusion, White says voters can use the online Voter Information Portal - www.indy.gov/VIP - for customized content including polling location and sample ballots.

Another option is to call 327-VOTE (327-8683) to use the automated phone-based system or speak to a staff person.

“It will pop up your location, driving directions and you can look at a screen shot of your ballot.” White said.

Early voting ends at noon, Monday
