Last minute shoppers are out and about

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Time is quickly running out for last minute shoppers.

On Monday, Christmas Eve, crowds packed Clay Terrace in Carmel in hopes of getting that perfect gift. 

Several shoppers told 24-Hour News 8 they were looking to cap off an already long shopping season, but others had different excuses, including late shopper Elhadji Ding. 

“I have been busy and I am not a good shopper so that’s why I went to the last minute because I am just not a good shopper."

Many malls will close early however some retailers are still open.  

Target will stay open unit 9 p.m. while Toys R Us is open until 10 p.m.
