INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Public Library has reached an eight year high in overall participation in their "Gear Up for Good" summer reading program.
This year marked the 93rd year of the program. This year, it attracted more toddlers and preschoolers since 2004. Furthermore, the program attracted the highest number of children ages six to nine since 2009.
Children participated at all of the Indianapolis Public School locations as well as the Beech Grove Public Library.
