INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An Indianapolis jeweler who was shot during a robbery at his home last month returned to work Thursday.
24-Hour News 8 spoke with Gary Thrapp at his jewelry store Thursday afternoon. Thrapp said that homeowners need to be aware that crime like this can happen to anyone.
"It doesn't just happen to someone else. It happens to us. It happens to me. It can happen to you," Thrapp said. "We have to be more diligent in protecting ourselves."
Thrapp added that he now has a security system installed in his home.
Police have not found the suspects behind the robbery and shooting.
