INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Beech Grove priest is missing in another country, officials with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis said Thursday.

Rev. Christiaan Kappes is missing in Greece, and no one is able to find him. Kappes once was a reverend at Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Beech Grove. The church is asking for prayers, but no public vigil is planned.

Kappes was in Greece studying Greek Orthodox theology.
