INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - This Thanksgiving shoppers made a mad dash to stores opening early.
And with retailers opening their doors early, shoppers weren't as sleep deprived.
"I think it's really convenient that you can just pop in and everyone else is waiting for something that's going open a day from now," Brad Truxall said.
But some who skipped spending time with family for deals left empty handed before the store even opened.
"It is just disappointing that they ran out of the item and you are that farther back in a line at another store," Tricia Carrier said.
Store employees passed out vouchers allowing shoppers to buy popular items at a reduced price. But they only had a limited number.
Some customers were lucky.
Those who didn't have luck on their side quickly asked employees the best time to return.
Starting at 4 a.m. Sears will offer its second round of door busters. "I would be here at your best gambling time.
"We are going have a line that forms inside for the next 26 hours. We have a lot of televisions to sell," store manager Dan MacDonald said.
To help pass time, shoppers played card games while waiting in line.
