INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A jury has convicted an Indianapolis man of murdering his wife and trying to kill her brother.
Miles Toran shot his wife, Sharon, in April 2012 in a car as their children looked on. Police said the two had arranged to meet to exchange the children. Miles Toran was living in Virginia at the time.
Sharon Toran’s brother was shot in the leg. The children were uninjured.
The jury deliberated four hours before coming to a verdict.
Miles Toran will be sentenced Jan. 16.
