INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A man was robbed and beaten on the northwest side of Indianapolis on Tuesday morning, police said.
Shortly before 5 a.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called to 4474 Rosewood Commons Court, near 56th Street and Georgetown Road, on a report of a robbery of a person.
Witnesses told police the man suffered a serious head injury and was unconscious. The man was reportedly robbed and assaulted outside the apartment building.
Police said three to four black males are being sought in connection with the assault, though no other descriptive information was available Tuesday morning.
It is unknown if any weapons were involved. The investigation is ongoing.
