Man shot on pedestrian bridge

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Shortly after 4:30 Thursday morning, a male victim showed up at Wishard Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
The victim told police he had been walking across the pedestrian crossover bridge at South Madison Avenue near Terrace when he heard a gunshot and realized he had been shot.
Detectives say the victim told them he had no idea where the shot came from.
Police searched the area and were unable to find any evidence from the shooting. His injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
