Marion County Fair crowns queen

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Marion County Fair named its 2012 Queen on Saturday.

Kayla Sullivan, 19-years-old, was named Marion County Fair Queen and Miss Congeniality during the fair's annual Queen Pageant.

The University of Indianapolis student has been on honor roll throughout high school and college. She is a TV anchor and reporter for UIndy TV5, student ambassador, Radio Club member and Indoor Soccer Teams participant. She is involved with the community through Indy Reads, St. Jude Catholic Church and the Make a Wish Foundation.

Sullivan will represent Marion County during the Indiana State Fair Queen Pageant on Sunday, August 19.

Kloe Neuenschwander. 10-years-old, was named the first-ever Little Miss in the Marion County Fair Little Miss Pageant.

Emma Mumford, 7-years-old, was named Marion County Fair Princess.

The Marion County Fair runs through Saturday, June 30. Admission is $5 per person, with children under the age of 5 and those with a valid military ID admitted free.
