Meetings offer info on Indy bike lanes

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The City of Indianapolis is taking its message on the road.
The Department of Public Works is visiting neighborhoods throughout the summer to educate residents about the city's new bike lanes.
At open houses, you can learn how to use the many miles of bike lanes through Marion County, safety tips, and how to plan routes to get to your destination.
The open houses will take place at the following Indianapolis Public Library branches:
- May 30, 4-6 p.m.: Haughville Branch Library, 2121 W. Michigan St.
- June 4, 4-6 p.m.: Southport Branch Library, 2630 E. Stop 11 Road
- June 6, 4-6 p.m.: Fountain Square Branch, 1066 Virginia Ave.
- June 27, 4-6 p.m.: East 38th Street Branch Library, 5420 E. 38th St.
- June 28, 4-6 p.m.: Irvington Branch Library, 5625 E. Washington St.
- July 2, 4-6 p.m.: Glendale Branch Library, 6101 N. Keystone Ave.
- July 3, 4-6 p.m.: East Washington Branch Library, 2822 E. Washington St.
- July 16, 5-7 p.m.: Eagle Branch Library, 3325 Lowry Road
- July 25, 5-7 p.m.: Eagle Branch Library, 3325 Lowry Road
