INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Mega Millions ticket worth $250,000 was purchased at an Indianapolis retailer for Friday night’s drawing.
The ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Megaball number, according to a release.
The owner of the ticket is entitled to a prize of $250,000. The ticket was purchased at a Village Pantry at 2001 Broad Ripple Avenue in Indianapolis.
The winning numbers were 15-32-38-42-46. The Megaball number was 31.
A Terre Haute retailer sold a $40,000 Mega Millions winning ticket.
The ticket was purchased at Kmart Express at 4651 South U.S. Highway 41. The ticket owner matched four numbers and the Megaball number. The owner also added the Megaplier option for an additional dollar. This increased the prize from $10,000 to $40,000, according to the Hoosier Lottery.
The Megaplier was 4.
Hoosier Lottery officials remind players to check their numbers carefully and to sign the back of their tickets immediately.
