Mom gets 25 years after baby's death

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The mother of a 14-month-old who looked on as her child was beaten to death was sentenced Friday to 25 years in prison with five years suspended.

Rachel Goodman pleaded guilty to neglect charges in connection with her daughter’s death. Goodman’s boyfriend, Tyuan Chism, was sentenced to 55 years in jail after pleading guilty to a murder charge in January.
