Museum celebrates Read Across America Day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Friday is National Read Across America Day and thousands of people celebrated by reading Dr. Seuss stories to commemorate his birthday.

At the Children's Museum of Indianapolis Friday morning, the Cat in the Hat stopped by to read from the popular Dr. Seuss book – with the same title.

After story time children made Dr. Seuss bookmarks.

There are other reading events at the museum throughout the month to encourage reading at all ages.
