INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Children's Museum of Indianapolis revealed the first major component to its new permanent exhibit called National Geographic: Treasures of the Earth.
Tuesday morning, museum officials opened one of three crates that offers a clue to the first destination.
The exhibit will feature three different excavations in three different parts of the world.
“One third of the exhibit will feature underwater archeology and the ship wreck of Captain Kidd. Featuring the work of Charlie Beeker and IU and their study of conservation,” said Jeff Patchen of the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
The National Geographic: Treasures of the Earth exhibit will open in the summer of 2011.
