INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Musicians presented a youth program with more than $8,000 on Friday.
The Musicians presented representatives from the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra with the funds raised at a benefit concert in September.
The sold-out benefit concert was held for the Youth Orchestra in front of 850 people. Although admission to the concert was free, concert goers were encouraged to make donations to the program.
During the lockout, Musicians held two concerts, one of which raised $2,000 for the New World Youth Orchestras.
The ISO Musicians returned to the stage this week.
