INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Officer David S. Moore Foundation has donated a new Labrador retriever to the Homeland Security IMPD / IFD Fire Investigations Section.

The 3-year-old yellow Labrador retriever, named Trace, will assist with arson investigations, according to a release.

Trace is trained in the detection of 13 ignitable liquids.

The canine was purchased by a donation of the International Association of Insurance Special Investigators to the David S. Moore Foundation.

Trace comes from Texas and replaces the previous accelerant detections canine, Scout.
