INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Two violent crimes in two Indianapolis malls has one community leader asking for a mall curfew for teenagers.

"We have to have a curfew like mall of America in Minnesota," said Rev. Charles Harrison with Ten Point Coalition.

Harrison believes teens in the mall after six p.m. should be escorted by an adult.

Harrison told 24-Hour-News 8 this after a 15-year-old fired several shots inside Lafayette Square Mall on Friday. No one was injured in the incident.

Then, on Saturday, a group of unruly teens were arrested at Circle Centre. One of the suspects, 19-year-old Daron Washington, was arrested for fighting with security officers.

"I call them anomaly,"said Hite. Chief adds the department needs parents to keep better watch of their children.

Circle Centre already has several precautions in place.  It has security officers on the inside, a group of volunteer moms and dads walk the hallways, and Ten Point Coalition keeps close watch on the outside.

The is no word yet if any of the local malls will institute a mall curfew.
