INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Public Safety agencies held a community meeting for residents affected by the Richmond Hill explosion to help offer additional help with their recovery.

About 100 residents attended the meeting at the Southport Presbyterian Church. Residents were able to ask questions about the recovery process and were told of various programs offered to those affected by the explosion.

Services offered to the residents included emotional and mental health support, advice on coping and additional information on where to access support at a later date if necessary.

Additionally, each agency offered updates on the progress of their duties pertaining to the incident. Residents were given phone numbers and other information to help with utilities, re-building, contractors and insurance.

According to a release from the Indianapolis Fire Department , many residents expressed concern for their pets and were told where to find pets that have been found thus far.
