Officials prep for St. Patty's Day events

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Division of Homeland Security and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are preparing to patrol several downtown events during St. Patrick’s Day this weekend.

During the parade and weekend, the Emergency Operations Center will be on standby in case of an incident. They will monitor weather and parade route with the city’s mobile cameras.

There will also be sobriety checkpoints set up before and after the parade.
