One dead on east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Metropolitan homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left one person dead in the 3800 block of North Eastern Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Detectives arrived on the scene around 1:57 p.m. on a report of a person shot.
The victim, who has been identified as 19-year-old Mitchell Lane, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are now looking for a white, 4-door Chrysler 300 with tinted windows and a paper license plate that is located on the rear window of the driver's side, according to police.
