One person dead in east side crash

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into the back of an SUV.
The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. at 3528 East 34th street, which is near 34th and Sherman on the city's east side.
Investigators say the preliminary reports indicate the motorcyclist lost control and ran into the rear of the SUV.
The driver and passenger inside the SUV were taken to Methodist Hospital and are being treated for bumps and bruises..
The motorcyclist was taken to Wishard Hospital where he died.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
