Person fatally struck by vehicle overnight

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police say a pedestrian was fatally struck by a car in the 3100 block of Georgetown Road just after midnight Sunday.

Witnesses have told police a Hispanic man stepped in front of a car traveling southbound on Georgetown Road.

An investigator on scene says alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this incident.

The name of the victim has not yet been released. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
