Deadly hit and run kills one man

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirms one person is dead after being struck by a vehicle.
IMPD received a call around 5:30 a.m. about a person lying on the ground in the 7400 block of N. Shadeland Ave. Officers pronounced the white man dead on scene.
It appears the man was walking on the west side of Shadeland when he was struck by a vehicle. Officers do not yet have a description of the suspect vehicle.
The man's identity has not yet been released.
