Woman struck, killed walking along road

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says a pedestrian was struck and killed in the 2800 block of Country Club Road.
Officials say a motorist was driving southbound on Country Club Road and did not see a woman walking along the side of the road and struck her. The woman was pronounced dead on scene.
Police say the woman was wearing dark clothing.
Additionally, police say the driver was not speeding at the time of the incident.
