INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Extra security will be at Perry Meridian High School on Thursday after school officials say they found a message in a restroom that hinted to a bomb threat.
The writing on the girl’s restroom wall was discovered on Wednesday at the school. School officials say they’re taking it seriously and investigating to determine who wrote it. The extra security was described as a “precautionary step.”
“When this individual is identified, it is our intent to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law,” district officials said in a news release.
MSD of Perry Township is working with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department on the investigation.
“In Perry Township, we take all threats of violence seriously,” school officials said. “The safety and security of our students is our number one priority.”
