Person in hospital after car crashes into tree

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One man was sent to the hospital early Monday morning after his Chevy Silverado struck a tree.
Residents in the 9500 block of Brookville Road say they woke up to the sound of a truck hitting a tree. One resident says he felt his home shake. Witnesses found the truck lying the front yard of a home.
Firefighters were called to the scene just before 2 a.m. to rescue the driver, 26-year-old David Cannon, who was stuck inside the truck. He was transported to Wishard Hospital. A condition is not known at this time.
Officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
