Pets wait for owners after south side explosion

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Some animals still had not been reunited with their families Thursday after being separated from them in Saturday night’s explosion.

Indianapolis Animal Care and Control added two more cats Wednesday night to the animals still needing to be claimed by families. There were four unclaimed cats as of Thursday afternoon.

Various website are listing animals, in hopes of letting families know where they are. Here are the sites keeping tabs on the missing animals:

Animal Care and Control will hold on to animals for 10 days.
