Pickup flies off I-465 into east side building

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A truck traveling on Interstate 465 went off the highway and into a building Thursday morning.
The pickup truck could be seen in a building at 7222 N. Shadeland Ave. after the crash that happened just after 8 a.m.
The driver told police he lost consciousness as he traveled north on I-465. The truck drove down an embankment and over a fence into a parking lot. The truck came to an abrupt stop in the building.
No one was in the room struck by the truck.
The truck’s driver was taken to Community Hospital North for observation.
