INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Castleton Square shoppers will see a lot more police and security officers at the mall Saturday nights.
The increased presence comes a week after a large fight broke out inside the mall that ended in several arrests.
Police and mall officials worked together this week on a plan to address the issue.
Mall officials say they'll enforce their code of conduct, break up groups of four or more people and ask parents not to let their kids come just to hang out.
A letter to parents and a copy of the code of conduct is being distributed to mall patrons this weekend.
Rachel Muhammad, a parent of young children, said parents need to step up.
"At the end of the day, they're our children and our responsibility to make sure they are safe, smart and make good decisions while they are out by themselves," she said.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department north district officers will hold their roll call inside the mall Saturday night.
