Police chase leads to car into home

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A short police chase lead to a vehicle crashing into a home on Christmas Day.

IMPD dispatchers say the pursuit occurred from Lafayette Rd until Tibbs. The vehicle crashed into a home at the corner of 20th and Tibbs.

The suspect was trapped inside the vehicle for a bit, but he was extricated unharmed. No one else was injured in this incident and very little damage was done to the home.

The suspect was later taken into custody.
