INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis detectives are investigating a deadly shooting on the city's south side.
The shooting happened at about 8 p.m. Tuesday night in the 2900 block of Draper Street, near Troy Avenue and Interstate 65.
Investigators found one man - later identified as Joshua Jefferson, 25 - dead at the scene and another person shot in the arm, who was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital, police said.
A third person showed up later at an area emergency room with a gunshot wound may also have been connected to the Draper Street incident, police said.
As of Wednesday morning, no arrests had been made.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call IMPD Homicide at 317-327-3475 or Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS (8477). Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous, and information that leads to felony arrest may be eligible for cash reward.
