Police investigating death

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A death investigation on the city's near northwest side.
Police found a burned body inside a burned apartment unit at the Abney Lake Apartments.
Officers went to the apartment while investigating a missing persons case.
While there, an apartment manager told police about an odd smell coming from an area of one of the buildings.
That's when police discovered the body.
Police won't say if the body found is related to their missing persons case.
Investigators did say the apartment was burned August 5th.
An autopsy on the victim is scheduled for Thursday.
