INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An IMPD detective was involved in a car crash Friday morning in downtown Indianapolis.

The incident was on Interstate 70 near the Rural Street exit. As of 11:20 a.m., the two right lanes of eastbound I-70 were closed as a result.

We have learned that a truck swerved and as a result, a passenger car swerved to avoid the truck. The car hit the detective's car, causing him to collide with a guard rail.

No injuries have been reported.
