Person critically shot at Burger King

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirms one person was shot in the chest at a local Burger King.
The incident occurred at a Burger King on 37th and Illinois Street around 9 p.m. on New Years Eve. The victim is now in critical condition.
Officers say a second person showed up at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. It is not yet known if the incident are related.
Aggravated assault detectives are on their way to the scene to take over the investigation.
