INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - IMPD homicide detectives were on the scene of a death investigation on the city's northwest side Wednesday morning.
Around 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, a person called police to report they found someone in an upstairs room of a home in the 4500 block of Golden Meadow Court. That is near 46th and Moller Road.
When officers arrived they confirmed a person was deceased inside the residence.
The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Benito Flores of Indianapolis. He was found by his son, who called police.
Homicide detectives say they are still in the early stages of their investigation. A cause and manner of death will be determined after an autopsy.
