Man stumbles upon burglar, gets shot

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A resident who walked in on his home being burglarized was shot — possibly by his own weapon.
Police were sent to the 1400 block of North Grant Avenue just after noon Wednesday on the report of a shooting.
Officials say the man returned home to the burglary, turned around to leave and was shot. The resident was seriously injured in the shooting and taken to a local hospital.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene.
