INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police are recommending the liquor license of a south side restaurant and bar not be renewed.

Dozens of teens were cited for underage drinking at the Blue Agave Mexican Restaurant and Bar, near Stop 11 Road and Madison Avenue, early Sunday morning .

After IMPD received tips about underage drinking, two minors were arrested and 26 others were cited.  Over 100 teens were found inside the bar.

The owners of Blue Agave and four promoters were also cited for underage drinking-related violations.

24-Hour News 8 has learned that the Blue Agave Mexican Restaurant and Bar was rented to a promoter Friday night for a party.

The Blue Agave’s current liquor license expires in October.
