Police seek white car for hit and run

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Metro police are asking you to be on the lookout for a newer model white sedan with damage to the right rear door following a hit and run crash this weekend.

Police say the suspect vehicle also had a custom ground effects kit.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police, the white sedan turned left in front of a woman riding a scooter, sending the woman to IU Health Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

Anyone with information about this vehicle or the driver is encouraged to call the IMPD Hit/Run Unit at 317-327-6549 or Crime Stoppers at 317-262-8477.
