INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Although Halloween hasn’t happened yet, some people are already preparing for Christmas.
Tuesday morning the IBEW 481 retirees started inspecting the lights for the Circle of Lights celebration.
They started checking the 4,784 multi-color lightbulbs that will be strung on Monument Circle.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Circle of Lights.
Crews will install the lights starting Nov. 3 on Monument Circle. Approximately 200 IBEW 481 volunteers will be on hand to install the 52 light strands.
The lights are turned on Nov. 23.
