INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The WISH-TV family was at Lucas Oil Stadium Sunday collecting toys for this year’s WISH-Tree toy drive.

Fans turned out and donated unwrapped toys and cash for children in need this holiday season. WISH-TV partnered with The Salvation Army for the event.

Crews were ringing bells and collecting toys throughout the morning before the Colts took on the Titans.

“Colts fans are great,” said Captain Nic Montgomery with The Salvation Army. “I mean they're coming in there, they're doing the 1-2-3 go Colts, and they got cheering. They got great, big hearts and they're just cheering it up and what a great way to do that. Everything is just fantastic.”

The Salvation Army will distribute the toys to families on Dec. 20. The donations will go to 2,400 children.
