INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Friday, one of the most severely damaged houses in the Richmond Hill blast – the house next to the one that exploded - was torn down.

Homeowner Monserrate Shirley, her boyfriend, Mark Leonard, and his brother Bob Leonard have all been charged with murder and arson in the explosion . Police have said they intentionally caused the blast that killed their neighbors, Jennifer and Dion Longworth.

Friday, their neighbors on the other side, the Olvey family, watched as their home of seven years was demolished.

The pile of rubble the home was reduced to included furniture, clothes, even picture frames.

Glenn Olvey and his wife and their two daughters, ages 14 and 15, were all home at the time of the blast, and all suffered head injuries and various other injuries. They credit neighbors with getting them out alive.

Olvey said he would reserve any comment on his neighbors, who are accused of intentionally causing the blast Nov. 10 that killed two other neighbors and irreparably damaged dozens of homes, until they get their day in court.

In total, 31 homes were marked for demolition due to damage from the blast.
