INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Richmond Hill neighborhood is planning a thank you dinner for emergency workers who responded to the massive explosion and subsequent fire in the south side Indianapolis neighborhood last year.
People living in the subdivison said they wanted to show their appreciation for the people who came to their rescue the night of Nov. 10, when a natural gas explosion killed two and irreparably damaged dozens of homes.
The dinner is set for Sunday at Southport Presbyterian Church. There will be a presentation afterwards. More than 100 first responders will be there, along with several city leaders.
